Behind The Scenes: Specsavers X Ted Baker Event


Specsavers and Ted Baker kicked off their latest collaboration with an epic debut dinner, hosted by Man of Many, that HeadBox had the pleasure of bringing to life. As two iconic brands merged together to create something beautiful, it was only fitting that we create an event that embodies Ted Baker’s subtle quirkiness and inventive nature.

The Planning

When it comes to creating a beautiful event such as this, our Events team went through meticulous planning to bring together an event that was exciting, engaging and seamless. The first step on the drawing board was to understand the vision for the event and begin venue research. We wanted to encapsulate the essence of the collection as well as the identities of the brands.

After short listing venue options within the HeadBox eco-system Chin Chin Sydney was selected as the perfect spot to host the event.

The Process

Once the venue was locked in at Chin Chin Sydney, it was full steam ahead as our Events team began to think about suppliers and brand ideation for the event. This Space is our go-to styling team who are experts in creating experiential events, from table centrepieces to furniture and hanging decor. Through extensive discussions, mood boards and visual mock-ups, the team locked in beautiful enchanting woodlands theming for the night.

As well as preparation for the styling of the event our events team work around the clock to secure photographers, videographers, entertainment, catering and so much more!

The Production

When it comes to running a seamless event, HeadBox has a team of Event Managers on site to liaise with suppliers and event organisers. From bump-in to bump-out our team are prepared to manage anything that arrises throughout the night as well as guest arrivals, contingency plans, health and safety and time schedules, just to name a few.

What a night! Thanks to the hard work of our Events team, suppliers and event organisers the Specsavers x Ted Baker debut dinner was the perfect kick-off to a fantastic new collection. All guests left the evening smiling and with a new a pair of sunnies, plus frames from their nearest Specsavers from the new Ted Baker collection.
